QuoteWerks & Unleashed Inventory Management software

About the User: this project was commissioned by a client who supply fibre and copper cabling solutions to meet the requirements of video, audio, data and more. Having been a long-term QuoteWerks user, in order to manage their stock and assembly production processes better, they chose to implement Unleashed inventory management software alongside.

Project Brief: in the absence of an existing integration between QuoteWerks and Unleashed, the client approached us as proven QuoteWerks integration developers to build an integration between the two. The client wanted to use QuoteWerks just for the quoting function of the business and then Unleashed for maintaining Products, Stock, Assemblies, and perform the and Sales / Purchase Order processing and accounting functions of the business. The brief for the project therefore was to read Product, Customer and Supplier information from Unleashed, and write back Assembly, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders back.

Features:

• Reading Product and Stock details along with various other associated tables of information from Unleashed to maintain a native QuoteWerks Product Data Source.
• Creating a Sales Order in Unleashed on request from a QuoteWerks Tools menu option using details from the current open document.
• Creating multiple Purchase Orders in Unleashed on request from a QuoteWerks Tools menu option using details from the current open document.
• Automatically creating Product records in Unleashed when they do not already exist.
• Automatically creating Assembly records with the appropriate Product sub-Items in Unleashed when they do not already exist.
• A comprehensive set of Configuration options to allow field mappings to be modified, etc.

• A considerable amount of time saved using an automated synchronisation process to update Product information as compared to manually exporting and importing.
• Quick, easy and accurate retrieval of up-to-date Product Stock information from Unleashed to help the QuoteWerks User understand what they have available to supply immediately.
