Contract Cost calculation for QuoteWerks

For use with: QuoteWerks v4.0 build 17 to v25.0 build 1.18.

About the User: This project was commissioned by a client who sells scientific equipment business-to-business. They wanted to streamline their Service Sales departments function in producing quotations so boosting sales reps efficiency and improving quote accuracy.

Project Brief: the client wanted an easier way for QuoteWerks users to bring information in from their heavily customised Sugar CRM system and have a wizard style interface to calculate the cost of to the equipment they were selling to the customer. Based on our experience in developing add-on solutions for QuoteWerks we were approached to build the integration.

The work-in-progress videos below illustrate how the custom Tools menu -> ‘Get Equipment from SugarCRM’ and ‘Calculate Contract Pricing’ options work together to allow the User to quickly and easily retrieve the Equipment details and then calculate the contract price.
