Product Bundle Management utility

For use with: QuoteWerks v4.0 build 17 to v24.0 build 4.16

About the User: This project was commissioned by a client who supplies materials and fits flooring. While the Bundle and Configurator features in QuoteWerks went so far in helping them efficiently quote, they wanted to use product placeholders within Bundles to save having 1,000s of Bundles.

Project Brief: As an overlay to the existing QuoteWerks Bundle and Product maintenance screens, create a way whereby placeholders in Bundles may be replaced with actual products. Before being put onto a quote, the solution should also automatically calculate the number of packs of materials required based on the square metres being quoted for.

Features:

• Extending and complimenting QuoteWerks’ out-of-the-box features when reading Bundle and Product information from the QuoteWerks database.
• Allowing the user to select actual products to replace placeholder(s) in the Bundle.
• Calculating actual number of packs of Bundle Items required to fulfil a job based on the square metres being quoted for.

• Quick and easy to use user interface when searching for and updating template Bundles with placeholder products.
• Automatic calculation of actual product pack purchasing requirements based on floor space enabling and ensuring consistently quicker and more accurate quoting.
