000012 : Can I transfer Documents to Sage if the Product Codes do not exist in Sage?

If you want to allow documents to be created even if the product code does not exist in Sage, use the ConnectIt Configuration utility (Start menu | All Programs | ConnectIt folder). Click the ‘Allow documents to be created even if the product code does not exist in Sage’ tick box on the Product Settings tab.

Now enter the codes that you would like to use in Sage for taxable and non-taxable products.

Note: The taxable and non-taxable codes are case sensitive and must already exist in Sage. If they do not already exist, you will need to set them up in Sage before ConnectIt can transfer the invoice information from QuoteWerks to Sage. To do this, go to Sage | Modules | Products and run the New Wizard to create a new code.

If you have left the taxable and non-taxable product codes blank, or if you have entered the “S1”, “S2” or “S3” codes from Sage, you will also need to enter the appropriate Nominal Codes.
