000077 : Invoices won’t post in Sage

There are two known scenarios where invoices will not post, either:
1. You select Post Invoice in the top section of Sage.
2. You choose the invoices to post.
3. Select preview.
4. Press update.
5. Nothing happens; the print preview does not appear.
Or:
1. You select Post Invoice in the top section of Sage.
2. You choose the invoices to post.
3. Select preview.
4. Press update.
5. Get an error about the screen being locked by yourself.

Cause |

This is an issue with Sage Line 50 v12.
|
Resolution |
1. Instead of updating the nominal ledgers from the Post Invoices screen go to the Invoice List.
2. Select the same invoice(s).
3. Press update.
4. Select preview.
5. Press update.
6. The preview screen should now appear and you will get an error message about not having sufficient stock of some items.
