Failed to save information from Configuration screen. Please check the information entered and try again.
An error occurred while writing the configuration settings to the file.
Access to the path ‘C:\Program Files (x86)\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt\cit_main.xml’ is denied.

Cause |
|
This error may occur if the User logged into the workstation is not an Administrator. General Users do not usually have Write or Modify Permissions to files in the Program Files directory.

Resolution |
- Right click on the C:\Program Files (x86)\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt\ folder
- Choose Properties from the menu
- Click the Edit button on the ConnectIt Properties screen
- Click Users on the Permissions for ConnectIt screen
- Click Full Control in the Permissions for Users area
- Click the Apply and then OK buttons
- Click the OK button on the ConnectIt Properties screen
