Cause |

This error message may appear if the Program Files path that ConnectIt has been installed to is not the same as the default, for example Program Files (x86).

Resolution |
Manually edit the paths in the QuoteWerks menuopts.add file so that the default C:\Program Files is replaced with %ProgramFiles%
1. Close QuoteWerks.
2. Using Notepad or a similar text file editor, open the menuopts.add file in the QuoteWerks installation directory (by default C:\Program Files\QuoteWerks\ or this may be on a server in a multi-user environment, for example Q:\QuoteWerks\).
3. Edit the following lines, replacing the default ‘C:\Program Files’ with %ProgramFiles%

Create document in Sage=%ProgramFiles%\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt\ConnectIt.exe &DH_DocNo
Create product(s) in Sage=%ProgramFiles%\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt\CITProdWiz.exe &DH_DocNo
Create customer(s) in Sage=%ProgramFiles%\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt\CITCustWiz.exe &DH_DocNo
ConnectIt Offline Help=%ProgramFiles%\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt\Documentation
ConnectIt Online Help=http://www.ConnectIt-software.co.uk/support/
4. The whole file should now look like this:

NotePad=notepad.exe

Create product(s) in Sage=%ProgramFiles%\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt\CITProdWiz.exe &DH_DocNo

5. Save and close the document.
6. Restart QuoteWerks and run ConnectIt.
Note: Changing the menuopts.add file will affect all users in a multi-user environment. To see the changes, users will need to close down and restart QuoteWerks.
