If you require ConnectIt-Sage50 to transfer foreign currency values from QuoteWerks into Sage 50 Accounts, please follow the steps below:
In Sage:
1. Foreign Currency must first of all be enabled in Sage 50 Accounts by running the Foreign Trader Setup wizard. If the Foreign Trader Setup wizard does not appear in the list of wizards, this is because it has already been run.
In ConnectIt:
ConnectIt Configuration utility | Customers tab:
2. On the Customers tab of the ConnectIt Configuration utility, tick the “Sage Foreign Currency enabled (Foreign Trader Wizard run)” box to confirm that foreign currency has been enabled in Sage.
3. Also on the Customers tab of the ConnectIt Configuration utility, tick the “Sage Customer Currency from QuoteWerks Alternate Currency” box.

ConnectIt Configuration utility | Purchase Documents tab:
4. If you are using ConnectIt to transfer purchase documents from QuoteWerks to Sage and if you would like the purchase documents to be created in Sage using the supplier’s default currency, then on the Documents | Purchase Documents tab of the ConnectIt Configuration utility, tick the “Sage Purchase Document Currency from Sage Supplier Currency” box. If this option is greyed out, ensure that the "Foreign Currency enabled" option on the Customers tab is ticked.
ConnectIt Configuration utility | Sales Documents tab:
5. If you are using ConnectIt to transfer sales documents from QuoteWerks to Sage and if you would like the sales documents to be created in Sage using the alternate currency from the QuoteWerks document, then on the Documents | Sales Documents tab of the ConnectIt Configuration utility, tick the “Sage Sales Document Currency from QuoteWerks Alternate Currency” box.
6. Save your ConnectIt Configuration settings.
In QuoteWerks:
7. Set up your foreign currency in Utilities | Exchange Rate Maintenance.
8. Select the appropriate Alternate Currency on the Sale Info tab of QuoteWerks.
9. Run ConnectIt by clicking Tools | Create Document(s) in Sage.
10. Save your QuoteWerks document.
