Please check the information entered and try again.
An error occurred while writing the configuration settings to the file.
Access to the path ‘C:\Program Files\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt-MAS90\cit_main.xml’ is denied.

Cause |
|
When trying to save from ConnectIt-MAS90 Configuration utility, the error message appears because the user that logged into the machine with ConnectIt-MAS90 installed has read only access to the Hilltops IT folder.

Resolution |
1.Open ConnectIt-MAS90 Configuration utility (Start menu | All Programs | ConnectIt folder).
2.Open the Hilltops IT folder which will default to C:\Program Files\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt-MAS90 or this may be on a different drive, for example E:\Hilltops IT\ConnectIt-MAS90.
3.Locate the two xml files within the folder: cit_doc.xml and cit_main.xml.
4.On each of the xml files you will need to right mouse click and select rename.
5.Then rename each file to cit_doc.old and cit_main.old.
6.Once you have done this, select the ConnectIt-MAS90 Configuration utility.
7.Press Save on the Configuration utility.
8.The files should now be re-created.
